| 2 - Spark Social Golf League
5:00 pm-8:00 pm April 2, 2024  We are excited this year to be partnering with Spark Golf to host a fun golf event every Tuesday beginning in April. Spark is the largest network of 9-hole, social golf leagues played at more than 2,000 courses across the U.S. and Canada. These events are for men and women interested in playing golf in a more relaxed social “league” type format. More information on Spark Golf can be found on their website: www.spark.golf. 5:00 pm-8:00 pm April 5, 2024  All you meat lovers (and you know who you are!) will be rushing to our Grill Restaurant for this Friday Night Special Dinner! It’s Mixed Grill Night and the Chef is preparing a plate of steak, baby back ribs, and chicken accompanied by hasselback potatoes and a little veg 😉 Reserve your spot by calling 250-248-2244 x 2 – you may want to bring your own bib!

7 - Grilled Cheese Specials
11:00 am-5:00 pm April 7, 2024  April is National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Month! Our restaurant will be featuring special grilled cheese sandwiches every Sunday during the month. A perfect bit of comfort food on the weekend! Come out each Sunday to see what special version of a Grill Cheese our Chef is offering!

All day April 8, 2024-April 10, 2024  Our Grounds Maintenance team will be implementing their highly effective greens program this week. This includes aeration of our famously lovely greens. The exact day and timing of the treatment this week may be affected by weather but this is what is planned: - Monday, April 8th – aerate the font nine
- Tuesday, April 9th – aerate the back nine
The crew will be aerating using solid tines so will not be pulling cores from the greens. Topdressing will happen later in the spring when weather is optimal for that process. As such, disruption to the greens should be minimized!

All day April 10, 2024  Ballenas Secondary will be hosting golf teams from a number of Secondary Schools on the island today. 5:00 pm-8:00 pm April 12, 2024  Our Chef David is starting his cuisine trip around Italy in the northern region. Northern Italian cuisine generally consists of ingredients from the mountains rather than the sea. Think polenta, cheese, risotto, mushrooms, and meats. Don’t miss out on this first in a series of special Friday Night Dinners where you can feel like you are touring this land of amazing food! 21 - Morningstar Member Spring Opening
All day April 21, 2024  Ah! The official start to the spring season of golfing! All Morningstar Members are invited to register for this event early as registration is limited to 60 golfers. Time: 12:30pm Crossover start Cost: $40 per player includes buffet dinner and prizes Welcome to the 2nd Annual Member’s Spring Opening event. Last year was a great success and we look to kick off the 2024 season with another fun round of golf and dinner buffet with prizes. This year’s event will be open to the first 60 golfers registered. We will be teeing off starting at 12:30pm off #1 and #10. A buffet dinner and prize presentation will be held in the Academy building after golf. This year the format is a 4 person Texas Scramble. Two drives are needed from all players. You can make your own team or sign up as single and be paired with other golfers.
